well people, its been a while since my last post, and for a somewhat of a good reason. after finishing my car swap, i went right back to school , where I dont have a job while I'm taking classes! So during the year, I just ride my motorcycle and the car stays parked.

Summer is almost here, and the car will be registered and brought back to life!

On another BMW related note, Collin Wikman, myself, and Jon Parsons traveled down to LA this past weekend for bimmerfest 2010. Over 3000 cars and 9000 people. It was insane!! Stay posted for pictures, I still need to upload them.

well kids, its been another crazy weekend here!

i made the solo trip down to SLO for friday, sat and sun to visit kevin and friends at PHIPSI.

partied both nights at the house with a HUGE bike ride on saturday as well as a mustang basketball game! had a great time. screw everyone who bailed on me!

car update: backed out over a curb and messed up my right front brake duct! i think its beyond repair :( next time im home ill have to snatch one from a pick n pull

back to the grind after a taxing weekend!

a little background on the car before i reflect on the weekend.

my HID xenon lights and Mark D chip finally came in the mail! if you have time to check it out...www.dsylva-tech.ca/ this guy is a boss! He is a grassroots guy who makes the sickest BMW chips ever! pretty much what this one did is improve timing, increase rev limiter to 7100, improve air/fuel ratio, and ingage the 2nd cam earlier. SWEEEEET. the HID lights were pretty much just plug and play. 6000k = coooool blue.

even though ive been sick for the past two days...prolly staying up super late both nights of the weekend did me in....ii was able to get outta bed and repaint my bottlecap wheels. now they are semi-gloss black and looking good! i was also able to tighten the locknut on my bilstein right from strut that had kept coming loose about every week or so!

so just to catch you guys up, i am now currently in santa cruz, beginning the 09 spring quarter.

During fall quarter i did these modifications to my car:

-B&M short throw shifter - i picked up this normally 250$ part from some guy on craigslist for 40$. installation was a sinch, you pretty much pulled out the stock shift linkage and drop the short throw in!

-keyless entry - picked up a pretty simple one off of ebay. nothing too fancy, just lock and unlock. the funny thing is that you hook it up in the trunk along with the electric trunk latch!

-next up was a license plate trim plate. i painted this, the front grilles, and the lower "i" lip all black. this went along really well with matching the shadowline trim and well as a good contrast to the color of my car!

- i then went and picked up a set of rear clear smoked tailights. to go with these, i had to order red bulbs because the lenses were clear. these, along with the license plate trim made the back of the car look much cleaner than stock red lights.

- cruising bimmerforums.com i ran across a lady that was selling a set of hella US ellipsoid headlights for 50 bucks. i was low on cash and wasnt planning on buying these, but they were just too good of a deal to pass up. so those swapped out really nicely. it entailed getting rid of one of the 3 wires going to the sealed beams, then bridging a fuse over so the low beams stay on when you hit the brights. the only catch was that one of the bright lenses is cracked, so i went ahead and bought some yellow lamin-x for the fogs and brights.

-over thanks giving break i got ahold of a red iS rear spoiler, but it was red. along with this, i got some identical wheels to mine, with good tires on them. i did this becuase my tires were showing the bead! so what i did about the spoiler was i sanded it down, and then hit it with 3 coats of the same kind of black i used for the grill and license plate trim. i then drilled holes in the top of my trunk and then bolted it in!

As some of you know, I managed to save up enough money over the summer by working at WTB and ABO to buy a car that i have wanted for a while now.

Found the right one located in beaverton, OR, which is close to portland.

I stopped posting on that site becuase i hated people being assholes! so i thought i would continue on this, along with other activities.

So now i own a 1991 bmw 318iS. shes awesome! im still on the fence about a name, but I'm leaning towards Wanda. She has 176,000 miles, but recieved a rebuilt engine about 7k ago. starting in september when i got her, i have been working on her nonstop! some of the first things i did were:

-New sound system - consisted of 200w nakamichi amp, 1200w sony amp, (2) apine type-S 10'' subs, 2 Rockford Phosgate 6 1/2 rear deck speakers, and an alpine headunit with ipod plugin. i got the nakmichi wired to the rear deck and the sony amp wired to the subs with a 1.6 farad capacitor.

-I got my windows tinted at total eclipse auto spa of marin 35% in the front and 20% in the back. these guys know what they are doing! it looks sooo good.

Oh, i forgot to mention that the car already came with bilstein shocks and eibach springs.

-for some routine maintinence i replaced the radiotor and thermostat, due to my engine overheating on my way to work!

- i also put a full thule roof rack with room for two bikes

that was about all i could do while at home in marin, i moved down to our new off campus house on western Dr. in Santa Cruz

first post here,

I thought i would catch you guys up on my winterbreak activities that just occured. I am a 3rd year student at UCSC.


---Dec 22nd - the time is upon us! BRO-SKIING IS TOMORROW.

as for tonite, for nocturnal activities, make your way up to sacramento and come clubbing with the santacruz crew. aka, me, elder, parsons, and schlof. also the rookies, kayla and her friend will be joining us. let me know if you want to come for it will be OFF THE CHAIN.

as for tomorrow, the spot to be will be of course at the cabin in south lame tahoe...be sure to head out earlier than later because a storm will be gaining momentum throughout the day.

hit me up about tonite!

if not,,, throw some Ds on that bitch and ill see you guys tomorrow.

Dec 24th - well kids,

as bro-skiing is not officially over, most of the participants have headed back to the bay area, inclluding myself.

180, 2 handles, and 8 drunk people later, the 2 night 2 day skiing shitshow came to an end.

hopefully the people who were not able to make it this time, will be able to make it for broski bash, spring break edition!!

as for me, cristmas is upon us, and i am left once again trying to brainstorm presents for my family. bah!
after xmas, i am being dragged to nashville to participate in a boondocks wedding for one of my underage cousins. pray for my survival.

when i get back, its straight to TAO in LA, then back to tahoe!!!

well as most of you know, it is 2009!!! wo hoooooo! i hope all of you punks had as good of a new years as i did. if you didnt not know, the core members of the group made the trip down to LA and went to Together as One at the LA colesium for the most epic rave EVER. we were up till 6:30!!

if you want to, go ahead and post on this events wall about what YOU did for new years!

before new years, i was dragged to a cousins wedding is butthole tennesse the day after xmas. it was horrible! all people do in that part of the country is eat, sit, and possibly talk. i had to catch an earlier flight out of there becuase i was going crazy!!! flew straight to LA wehre i met katie s, katie b, kevin, brent, and tracey.

if you dont know, school starts for a lot of us on the 6th, so winter "break" is coming to an end very very fast! get all the stuff you want to do crammed into the next couple days!!!

Winter "BREAK"m 08/09 ReCap

Well kids, its been another EPIC winter break thanks to the motivation and perservearance of it's participants. I would like to thank every one for coming out to the official group events such as bro-skiing, skydiving, and TAO and making it all happen. if it wasnt for the dedication of the members it would have been a shitty break.

kevin, if you could please post the fianl tally on here for broken things that would be grealty appriciated.

I would now like to just do a small recap of what went down this break so we can all look back and remember what a fuckin dope break this was...i would say the best one yet!!! If i miss anything just postup here and say what you did!

first weekend we had the first ski trip with me, kevin, katie W, and guest member kayla. snow was shitty but the partying was above par!

the following week consisted of re-calibrating to marin life and a couple bike rides where kevin mangled his hand...which was with him for the rest of break.

also included the first of the two part clubbing series in the city at club NV becuase not all of us are 21 yet. GET ON THAT!


SKydiving was an all time high of the break, thanks to kevin for motivating us to go! the group consisted of me, bob, ashley(amazingly), katie w, and kevin. if you havnt gone skydiving i HIGHLY recommend it. worth every penny.

Next up was the infamous part deux of broski bash, deemed bro-skiing! there was not a large female presence (thanks katie), but the guys held it down with non stop beer pong and durka pong. awards given out were

the next event (for me atleast) was traveling to TN with with family for my cousins wedding....let me tell you...never go there! its horrible. all people do there is sit, talk, and eat! it was so bad i had to persuade my dad to let me fly home a day early. straight from TN i flew to LA where i met up with the katies, kevin, brent, and tracey. this was the group that went to TAO for new years....which turned out to be the best event over break! if you were there you know!

after new years i was able to make it up to tahoe one more time with katie B, but not before her car broke down in stockton,,,,then we had to limp it back to marin, then drive up AGAIN in another car....but we make it,,,,and it was worth it becuase the snow was in pristine condition!

I myself am now back insantacruz, going into my 3rd day of classes, but for you guys on the semester system, keep going strong! you still got almost 2 weeks! feel free to come visit here or SLO it will be poppin' this weekend!

as for now, i bid you all adeu (or however you spell that), and hope to see you all this summer!! maybe we should call it summer "fix" 09 to repair all of THE SHIT WE BROKE OVER WINTER BREAK!!
